If you would like to commission your own design then please contact me using the contact page. Please be as descriptive as possible, giving dimensions and as much information as you can. I will then get back to you via email or phone to discuss your requirements. There is regularly a waiting period of several months due to current work commitments.

Taking Rapro graphics 2D logo and turning it into a 3D sculpture was the brief for this commission.

Ballet Dancers Private Commission.

Julie Young runs her own Dance School situated not far from the Gallery at the top end of Perth's High Street. When some of the parents decided to commission this piece for Julie's birthday it was important to them that the piece featured two girls who Julie taught. The older is attending the Royal Ballet School I believe and the younger is a current student. I wanted to show the older girl leading the younger to tie in with the fact that Julie has been bringing children through and on from the dance school for many years. Happy Birthday Julie!

You can read more about her dance school in this article featured in the Perthshire Advertiser.

Smudger - created for Bo Bear Designs UK

Smudger - Created for Bo Bear Designs

Ceramic Smudger (Above left)
Limited Edition of 100
Approx 250mm

Starting by creating a master that authentically copied the original 'Smudger', this was then cast in to a plaster press mould and then reproduced. It was important to keep the colour and pose of the bear true to the original.

Smudger (Above right)
Approx 17"

The boisterous ginger mohair reflects the personality of 'Smudger' that hides behind his innocent visage. 'Smudger' is proud to model his 100% wool jumper, sporting the Bo Bear logo, to keep him warm through the long winter months.

Upper Deck EntertainmentUpper Deck Entertainment

Upper Deck Entertainment produce a wide variety of collectible cards and collectible card games. They currently have the licence to produce the collectible card games for World of Warcraft, Yugioh and VS System based on the marvel and DC comic characters.

I have worked with UDE to create specially commissioned trophies for both their VS System and Yugioh. My initial trophy for them featured busts of both Batman and Spiderman. Following the popularity of that model I then created a detailed trophy of the Hulk bending a girder with the VS logo on it.

The Yugioh trophies featured the Dark Magician Character popularised in the children’s cartoon series of the same name.

Werner Mühlenberg
The Snakeman of Brunswick

I first met Werner back in about 1995 when he first commissioned some candles from me after meeting at a trade fair. His work as a candle maker is quite outstanding making very realistic snakes using soft wax his work sells to locations all around the world. For some jobs though soft wax with a low melting point is not ideal, as was the case when he wanted to make a rattlesnake candle for his clients in Texas. This required the use of a wax with a higher melting point and to be cast using a silicon mould. I have created the masters for a wide diversity of animals and objects in the past for Werner but this is the first of the pieces I have made for him since returning to self-employment in 2006.
